ANTI-LOCK BRAKE SYSTEM (ABS) MODULE

The ABS module is responsible for sending the following signals to the PCM:

  • Brake pedal activation to the PCM
  • Brake switch rationality to the PCM
  • Vehicle speed value to the PCM
  • Electronic Stability Control (ESC) state to the PCM
  • Electronic Park Brake (EPB) status to the PCM
  • ESP disable status to the PCM
