Body Control Module (BCM)

When the ACC with Stop and Go system is Set state, the ABS module transmits an ACC engaged signal to the BCM. The BCM gates and then broadcasts this signal to the relevant modules and systems on the bus that are involved in the ACC operation.
Inputs
- ACC engaged signal from the ABS module
Outputs
- Ignition OFF time to DASM
- Wiper system status to DASM for ambient temperature determination
- Vehicle configuration data to multiple bus nodes
- Outside air temperature value to the DASM
- Battery system voltage to the DASM
- Commanded ignition status to multiple network nodes
- Driver door ajar signal to the DASM and ABS module
- DASM configuration and ACC system type for several network nodes
- ACC engaged signal to multiple network nodes

When to See a Mechanic
