Display Screen Module (DSM)

The DSM can be used to enable the semi-automatic park and park assist system as well as the ParkSense™ camera activation. The DSM outputs the soft switch requests directly to the BCM for operation as well the ICS for lighting. The BCM gates the switch state to the PAM. The BCM also gates control behavior signal to the DCM in order to display the appropriate indicator.

When to See a Mechanic
Stop DIY work and contact a certified mechanic immediately if any of the following apply:
- • You smell fuel, burning insulation, or see smoke.
- • Brakes feel soft, pull hard to one side, or make grinding noises.
- • The engine overheats, stalls repeatedly, or misfires under load.
- • You are missing required tools, torque specs, or safe lifting equipment.
