Body Control Module (BCM)

The BCM is the gateway for the BUS communication systems. The BCM is also responsible for providing vehicle specific configuration parameters to multiple nodes on the BUS, battery voltage and commanded ignition state signals to the DASM. The BCM receives input signals from the DASM that it gates to the IPC for warning display messages and, under specific conditions, to the Radio or AMP to provide audible chime warnings.

When to See a Mechanic
