2024 Dodge and Ram 1500 TRXSECTION 12 Inch Display

REMOVAL 

  1. Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable(s). Refer to BATTERY DISCONNECT AND CONNECT - SINGLE 12V BATTERY SYSTEM, 3.0L & 5.7L EZH or BATTERY DISCONNECT AND CONNECT - ETORQUE SYSTEM, 3.6L & 5.7L EZL or BATTERY DISCONNECT AND CONNECT - SINGLE 12V BATTERY SYSTEM, 6.2L .
  2. Remove the instrument panel center bezel. Refer to BEZEL, INSTRUMENT PANEL, CENTER, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .

  3. Remove the fasteners (1, 2) and remove the Display Screen Module (DSM) from the vehicle.
    NOTE:

    If the DSM is replaced, the switch pod must be removed.

  4. Remove the fasteners (1), release the two lower tabs and roll out the switch pod from the front of the DSM.

INSTALLATION 

  1. If radio was replaced, install the switch pod and the fasteners and tighten securely.
  2. Position the DSM to the center bezel, then install and tighten the fasteners securely.
  3. Install the instrument panel center bezel. Refer to BEZEL, INSTRUMENT PANEL, CENTER, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
  4. Connect the negative battery cable(s). Refer to BATTERY DISCONNECT AND CONNECT - SINGLE 12V BATTERY SYSTEM, 3.0L & 5.7L EZH or BATTERY DISCONNECT AND CONNECT - ETORQUE SYSTEM, 3.6L & 5.7L EZL or BATTERY DISCONNECT AND CONNECT - SINGLE 12V BATTERY SYSTEM, 6.2L .
