Removal And Installation: Module

2024 Dodge and Ram 1500 TRXSECTION Module

REMOVAL 

  1. Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable(s). Refer to BATTERY DISCONNECT AND CONNECT - SINGLE 12V BATTERY SYSTEM, 3.0L & 5.7L EZH or BATTERY DISCONNECT AND CONNECT - ETORQUE SYSTEM, 3.6L & 5.7L EZL or BATTERY DISCONNECT AND CONNECT - SINGLE 12V BATTERY SYSTEM, 6.2L .

    1 - Harness Connector
    2 - Fastener
    3 - AVC
  2. Locate the Active Vibration Cancellation (AVC) module in the engine bay next to the brake booster.
  3. Remove the AVC module wire harness connector.
  4. Remove the active vibration cancellation module to body fastener.
  5. Remove the AVC module from the vehicle.

INSTALLATION 

  1. Position the AVC module on the vehicle bulk head.
  2. Install the active vibration cancellation module to body fastener and tighten to the proper torque specifications. Refer to TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
  3. Install the AVC module wire harness connector.
  4. Connect the negative battery cable(s). Refer to BATTERY DISCONNECT AND CONNECT - SINGLE 12V BATTERY SYSTEM, 3.0L & 5.7L EZH or BATTERY DISCONNECT AND CONNECT - ETORQUE SYSTEM, 3.6L & 5.7L EZL or BATTERY DISCONNECT AND CONNECT - SINGLE 12V BATTERY SYSTEM, 6.2L .
  5. Perform the AVC programming procedure. Refer to MODULE, ACTIVE VIBRATION CANCELLATION (AVCM), MODULE PROGRAMMING .
