Removal And Installation: Module
2024 Dodge and Ram 1500 TRXSECTION Module

REMOVAL
- Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable(s). Refer to BATTERY DISCONNECT AND CONNECT - SINGLE 12V BATTERY SYSTEM, 3.0L & 5.7L EZH
or BATTERY DISCONNECT AND CONNECT - ETORQUE SYSTEM, 3.6L & 5.7L EZL
or BATTERY DISCONNECT AND CONNECT - SINGLE 12V BATTERY SYSTEM, 6.2L

1 - Harness Connector 2 - Fastener 3 - AVC - Locate the Active Vibration Cancellation (AVC) module in the engine bay next to the brake booster.
- Remove the AVC module wire harness connector.
- Remove the active vibration cancellation module to body fastener.
- Remove the AVC module from the vehicle.
INSTALLATION
- Position the AVC module on the vehicle bulk head.
- Install the active vibration cancellation module to body fastener and tighten to the proper torque specifications. Refer to TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
- Install the AVC module wire harness connector.
- Connect the negative battery cable(s). Refer to BATTERY DISCONNECT AND CONNECT - SINGLE 12V BATTERY SYSTEM, 3.0L & 5.7L EZH or BATTERY DISCONNECT AND CONNECT - ETORQUE SYSTEM, 3.6L & 5.7L EZL or BATTERY DISCONNECT AND CONNECT - SINGLE 12V BATTERY SYSTEM, 6.2L .
- Perform the AVC programming procedure. Refer to MODULE, ACTIVE VIBRATION CANCELLATION (AVCM), MODULE PROGRAMMING .
