- Disconnect and isolate the negative cable from the battery.
- Remove the instrument panel cup holder. Refer to CUPHOLDER, INSTRUMENT PANEL, REMOVAL
.
- Remove the fasteners (1) and remove the cup holder trim support bracket (2).
- Disconnect the wire harness connectors from the Vehicle Systems Interface Module (VSIM).
- Disengage the tabs (2) of the VSIM (1) and remove from the cup holder trim support bracket (3).
