Module, Vehicle System Interface (VSIM): Removal

  1. Disconnect and isolate the negative cable from the battery.
  2. Remove the instrument panel cup holder. Refer to CUPHOLDER, INSTRUMENT PANEL, REMOVAL .

  3. Remove the fasteners (1) and remove the cup holder trim support bracket (2).
  4. Disconnect the wire harness connectors from the Vehicle Systems Interface Module (VSIM).

  5. Disengage the tabs (2) of the VSIM (1) and remove from the cup holder trim support bracket (3).
