Sensor, Coolant Temperature: Installation

  1. Install the Engine Coolant Temperature (ECT) sensor (2) and turn it clockwise 1/4 turn to engage the lock tab (3).
  2. Connect the ECT sensor wire harness connector (1).
  3. Install the air cleaner body. Refer to BODY, AIR CLEANER, INSTALLATION .
  4. Install the air cleaner resonator. Refer to RESONATOR, AIR CLEANER, INSTALLATION .
  5. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to HOISTING, STANDARD PROCEDURE .
  6. Install the right lower shield and securely tighten the fasteners.
  7. Remove support and lower the vehicle.
  8. Fill the cooling system. Refer to COOLANT SYSTEM AIR EVACUATIONΒ  .
  9. Start and warm the engine and check for leaks.
