Radiator, Engine Cooling: Installation

2023 Dodge and Ram ProMaster 3500 Van Cargo ExtendedSECTION Installation
NOTE:

Be sure the air seal is in position before radiator is installed.  Slide radiator down into position. Seat the radiator with the rubber isolators into the mounting holes provided, with a 10 lbs. force.

  1. Position the radiator into the lower supports.
  2. Position the air conditioning condenser onto the radiator lower mounts and engage the upper mounting tabs.
  3. Connect the lower radiator hose.
  4. Install both upper radiator mounting brackets.

  5. Install the air deflector (1) and tighten the bolts (2) to the proper torque specification. Refer to TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
  6. Attach the transmission cooler to the radiator and engage the tabs that secure it.
  7. Install the cooling. Refer to FAN, COOLING, INSTALLATION .
