Module, Security Gateway (SGW): Installation
2023 Dodge and Ram ProMaster 1500SECTION Installation
NOTE:
If a NEW Security Gateway (SGW) module is being installed, use the diagnostic scan tool to flash the module. Failure to flash the module will leave the SGW module in a locked mode preventing SGW module operation.
- Position the SGW module (3) to the glove box assembly (4).
- Install the SGW module fasteners (1) and tighten the fasteners securely.
- Install the glove box assembly. Refer to GLOVE BOX, INSTRUMENT PANEL, INSTALLATION .
- Connect the negative battery cable. If equipped with an Intelligent Battery Sensor (IBS), connect the IBS connector.
- If a NEW SGW module is installed, use the diagnostic scan tool to flash the SGW module.
