- Perform the fuel pressure release procedure. Refer to FUEL SYSTEM PRESSURE RELEASE .
- Disconnect the negative battery cable (2).
- Remove the oil fill cap (1).
- Remove the engine cover (2).
- Disconnect the electrical connector at the Intake Air Temperature (IAT) sensor (1).
- Loosen the hose clamp at the air cleaner housing (2).
- Remove the resonator retaining bolt (3).
- Loosen the hose clamp at the throttle body (4) and remove the resonator.
- Disconnect the electrical connector at the throttle body (3).
- Remove the four throttle body retaining bolts (2).
- Remove the throttle body (1) from the intake manifold.
- Check the throttle body O-ring (2), replace if necessary.
