REMOVAL
- Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable. If equipped with an Intelligent Battery Sensor (IBS), disconnect the IBS connector first before disconnecting the negative battery cable.
- Remove the radio. Refer to RADIO, REMOVAL
.
- Reach in through the radio opening and disconnect the electrical connector (1) from the Keyless Ignition Node (KIN) module.
- Press the tabs (2) the secure t he KIN to the instrument panel and push the KIN out from behind.
- If replacing the KIN, release the tab (1) on each side of the KIN and remove the bezel.
