Theory Of Operation
The Body Control Module (BCM) receives CAN Bus messages from the Steering Column Control Module (SCCM), requesting Left or Right Turn Lamp illumination. When the BCM receives this CAN Bus message, the BCM provides a Pulse Width Modulated (PWM) output, through the Left or Right Front Turn Lamp Driver circuit, to the Left or Right Front Lamp Assembly. A ground path for the Left and Right Front Lamp Assemblies is provided through the wiring harness to the body sheet metal.

When to See a Mechanic
