REMOVAL
- Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable. If equipped with an Intelligent Battery Sensor (IBS), disconnect the IBS connector first before disconnecting the negative battery cable.
- Remove the right instrument panel trim panel. Refer to PANEL, INSTRUMENT PANEL TRIM, CENTER, REMOVAL
.
- Remove the fasteners (2) and release the Keyless Ignition Node (KIN) module bracket (3) from the right trim panel (1).
- Press the tabs that secure the KIN (2) to the KIN bracket (3) and remove the KIN (2).
