Theory Of Operation
The Body Control Module (BCM) receives the input from the Headlamp Switch requesting fog lamp illumination. The BCM provides a pulse width modulated (PWM) voltage output through the Fog Lamp Control circuit, which connects to the Fog Lamp. A ground path for the lamps is present through the harness to the body sheet metal. For additional information on the Fog Lamp operation, Refer to OPERATION .

When to See a Mechanic
