Solenoid, Variable Valve Timing: Installation: Right
2023 Dodge and Ram Durango R/T Plus, RWDSECTION Right
- Install the Variable Valve Timing (VVT) solenoid seals (1). The seals can be reused if not damaged.
- Refer to the markings made at disassembly and install the intake VVT solenoid (2) and the exhaust VVT solenoid (4) in their original locations.
- Install and securely tighten the VVT solenoid mounting bolts (3) to the proper specification. Refer to TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
- Connect the wire harness connector (1) to the VVT solenoid.
- Connect the negative battery cable and tighten to the proper specification. Refer to TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
NOTE:
The Cam/Crank Variation Relearn procedure must be performed using the scan tool anytime there has been a repair/replacement made to a powertrain system, for example: flywheel, valvetrain, camshaft and/or crankshaft sensors or components.
