Module, Body Control (BCM): Removal

2023 Dodge and Ram Durango R/T Plus, AWDSECTION Removal
  1. Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable. If equipped with an Intelligent Battery Sensor (IBS), disconnect the IBS connector first before disconnecting the negative battery cable.
  2. Remove the passenger side lower Instrument Panel (IP) closeout panel.
  3. Remove the passenger side lower kick panel. Refer to PANEL, COWL TRIM, SIDE, REMOVAL .

  4. Disconnect all of the Body Control Module (BCM) connectors.
  5. Remove the lower BCM mounting bracket fasteners (2).
  6. Slide the BCM (1) downward until the BCM is released from the two interference tabs, located at the top of the BCM.
  7. Remove the BCM from the vehicle.
