NOTE:
Left side shown, right side similar.
- Position the catalytic converter onto the exhaust manifold flange, and install the ball flange nuts (3) finger tight.
- Support the catalytic converter pipe with a suitable jack.
- Connect the O2S sensor wire harness connectors (2).
- Position the catalytic converter exhaust pipe and install the nut and spring assembly (1) to the muffler assembly flange (2).
- Tighten the exhaust manifold ball flange nuts to the proper specification. Refer to TORQUE SPECIFICATIONSΒ .
- Tighten the catalytic converter exhaust pipe nut and spring assembly to the proper specification. Refer to TORQUE SPECIFICATIONSΒ .
- Remove the support and lower the vehicle.
- Connect the negative battery cable.
- Start the engine and check for exhaust leaks.
