  1. Position the catalytic converter onto the exhaust manifold flange, and install the ball flange nuts (3) finger tight.
  2. Support the catalytic converter pipe with a suitable jack.
  3. Connect the O2S sensor wire harness connectors (2).

  4. Position the catalytic converter exhaust pipe and install the nut and spring assembly (1) to the muffler assembly flange (2).
  5. Tighten the exhaust manifold ball flange nuts to the proper specification. Refer to TORQUE SPECIFICATIONSΒ  .
  6. Tighten the catalytic converter exhaust pipe nut and spring assembly to the proper specification. Refer to TORQUE SPECIFICATIONSΒ  .
  7. Remove the support and lower the vehicle.
  8. Connect the negative battery cable.
  9. Start the engine and check for exhaust leaks.
