Coil, Ignition: Removal: 6.2L

- Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable.
- Remove the engine cover(s) (1).
- The following steps are necessary only for right side ignition coils, for the left side, continue to step 4.
- Remove the supercharger coolant bottle reservoir from the mounting bracket and position aside for additional clearance. Refer to RESERVOIR, COOLANT, REMOVAL
.NOTE:
It is not necessary to disconnect the coolant hoses from the coolant reservoir.
- Remove the right side coolant tube retainer and reposition coolant tubes.
- Remove the Power Distribution Center (PDC) from the mounting bracket and position aside.
- Reposition the wire harness for additional clearance.
- Remove the supercharger coolant bottle reservoir from the mounting bracket and position aside for additional clearance. Refer to RESERVOIR, COOLANT, REMOVAL

- Remove the air cleaner body. Refer to BODY, AIR CLEANER, REMOVAL
.
- Disconnect the ignition coil wire harness connector (2).
- Remove the two ignition coil bolts (1).
- Using a slight rocking motion, carefully lift the ignition coil from the cylinder head opening.NOTE:
It will be necessary to carefully reposition the A/C Lines for clearance, if removing the left side coils.
