Air Cleaner: Removal

- Remove the air cleaner housing cover retaining screws (1).
- Lift the air cleaner housing cover (1) while separating the locating tabs from the housing.
- Remove the air cleaner element (2) from the housing.
- Clean the inside of the air cleaner housing before replacing the element.NOTE:
For cleaning cold air intake air filters refer to the I-Sheet in STAR Parts or service information. Some cold air intake air filters are cleaned and oiled, where others are cleaned only without oiling.
