REMOVAL
- Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to HOISTING, STANDARD PROCEDURE .
- Place a suitable fluid catch pan under the transmission.
- Disconnect the output speed sensor (OSS) (1) wire harness connector.
- Remove the bolt holding the OSS (1) to the transmission case.
- Remove the OSS (1) from the transmission case.
INSTALLATION
- Install the OSS (1) into the transmission case.
- Install the bolt to hold the output speed sensor (1) into the transmission case. Tighten the bolt to proper specification. Refer to TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
- Connect the OSS (1) wire harness connector.
- Verify the transmission fluid level. Add fluid as necessary. Refer to CAPACITIES AND RECOMMENDED FLUIDS, SPECIFICATIONS .
- Remove the support and lower the vehicle.
