Trailer Tire Pressure Monitor (TTPM) Module

The TTPM module is mounted behind the rear bumper, slightly left of center. The TTPM begins monitoring pressure information transmitted by the TTPM sensors when the BCM message is set to IGN_RUN. The TTPM has a CAN interface to connect it to the vehicle network and performs the following functions:
- Receives and processes RF signals from each TTPM sensor
- Monitors the TTPM sensor status
- Manages internal power
- Implements algorithms and logic to generate low pressure and TTPM sensor/system malfunction warnings
- Transmits the messages to the IPC on the CAN-C bus
- Performs diagnostic functions via CAN diagnostics
