Instrument Panel Cluster (IPC)
| Refer to COMPONENT INDEXΒ . |
The IPC will display the pressure values transmitted for all active sensors in their respective positions for a given selected trailer profile. The correct pressure values and wheel position will be displayed from each of the TTPM sensor locations as they have been programmed by the user, provided tire programming is performed even after tire rotation.
When an under inflation condition is detected the TTPM will send a notification to the IPC, requesting that the IPC illuminate the tire outline for the tire affected. The tire outline will remain ON continuously when the ignition is in the ON/RUN position until the low tire pressure condition is corrected. When an under inflation condition occurs for low tire pressure, a text message may be displayed or low tire pressure text messages including the location of the low tire may be displayed. The color of the pressure value displayed will change for the location of the tire with the low pressure condition. When a low tire pressure condition is corrected, the color indication of that tire in the display will return to its original color. The tire pressure display screen will remain displayed until another display screen is selected. If more than one low tire pressure condition exists, the pressure value of each tire that is low will be highlighted.
