Module, Keyless Ignition Node (Kin): Installation

  1. Align the KIN to the instrument panel bezel allowing the retaining tabs (1) to secure the KIN in position.

  2. Connect the electrical connector (1) to the KIN.

  3. Place the steering column gap hider back to its installed position, engaging all the snap clips.
  4. If the KIN is being replaced, perform the RFHM verification test. Refer to RADIO FREQUENCY HUB (RF HUB) VERIFICATION TEST .
