The Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) module (1) is a microcontroller designed to operate the heating and A/C system, using the Controller Area Network (CAN) data bus. The HVAC module has a plastic housing with three electrical connector receptacles (2), three mounting screw holes (3) and two locating tabs.

The HVAC module (3) is located on the bottom of the HVAC housing between the blower motor (2) and the distribution housing, directly below the blower motor power module (1).
