- Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable. If equipped with an Intelligent Battery Sensor (IBS), disconnect the IBS connector first before disconnecting the negative battery cable.
- Separate the rear view mirror trim covers to gain access to the Forward Facing Camera Module (FFCM) (2) .
- Disconnect the FFCM wire harness connector (1).
- The FFCM is attached to the windshield bracket in a hook and rotate manner. Rotate the FFCM downwards to disengage the windshield bracket hooks and release the FFCM from the bracket. It is easier to remove the FFCM from the passenger seat.
