Diagnostic Test

2013 Dodge and Ram Journey Crew, AWDSECTION Diagnostic Test

  1. PCM PROGRAMMED WITH INCORRECT SOFTWARE 
    1. Ignition on, engine not running.
    2. Program the PCM in accordance with the Service Information. Refer to STANDARD PROCEDURE .
    3. Start the engine.
    4. Allow the engine to reach normal operating temperature.
    5. With a scan tool, select read the active DTCs.

      Does the scan tool display U0300-INTERNAL CONTROL MODULE SOFTWARE INCOMPATIBILITY?

      Yes 

      No 

      • The Powertrain Control Module (PCM) has been successfully programmed. Test is complete.
      • Perform the POWERTRAIN VERIFICATION TEST. Refer to STANDARD PROCEDURE .
