  1. Disconnect negative battery cable.
  2. Remove engine cover.
  3. Rotate hose clamp out of way.
  4. Disconnect oil pressure sensor electrical connector.
  5. Remove oil pressure sensor.
  6. Disconnect variable valve timing solenoid electrical connector.

  7. Remove variable valve timing solenoid mounting bolt.

  8. Pull solenoid straight out of cylinder head.
