- Using the Variance Settings Map, find your geographic location and note the zone number.
- Turn the ignition switch to the ON/RUN position.
- Using the U-Connect Touch ™ screen, select SETTINGS either from the hard controls on the side of the screen, or from the menu selections at the bottom of the screen, depending on model.
- Scroll through the menu, and select COMPASS VARIANCE .
- Once selected, toggle through the zone numbers (1-15), until the zone number for your geographic location appears in the display. The zone number will set automatically.NOTE:
The default for the compass variance from the factory is 8. During programming, the Zone value will wrap around from Zone 15 to Zone 1.
- Press the BACK button to return to the main menu.
- Confirm that the correct direction is now indicated by the compass.
