- Position water pump assembly (1) and gasket onto cylinder block.
- Position water inlet tube (4) and gasket onto water pump (1).
- Install mounting bolts (2). Tighten bolts to 25.5 N.m (225 in. lbs.).
- Install drive belt splash shield.
- Lower vehicle.
- Install accessory drive belt. Refer to BELT, SERPENTINE, INSTALLATIONΒ .
- Evacuate air and refill cooling system. Refer to PUMP, WATER, STANDARD PROCEDUREΒ .
- Check cooling system for leaks. Refer to DIAGNOSIS AND TESTINGΒ .
