1 - Fuel Line
2 - Quick disconnect at body mounted fuel line bundle
3 - Quick disconnect at fuel rail
WARNING:

The fuel system is under constant pressure even with engine OFF. Until the fuel pressure has been properly relieved from the system, do not attempt to open the fuel system.

  1. Release the fuel system pressure. Refer to FUEL SYSTEM PRESSURE RELEASE PROCEDUREΒ  .
  2. Disconnect and isolate negative battery cable.
  3. Remove engine cover.
  4. Disconnect the fuel line quick connect fitting (2) from the body mounted fuel line bundle. Refer to STANDARD PROCEDUREΒ  .
  5. Disconnect the fuel line quick connect fitting (3) from the fuel rail. Refer to STANDARD PROCEDUREΒ  .
  6. Disengage fuel line retainer from valve cover mounting stud and remove fuel line (1) from vehicle.
