  1. Position new gasket (3) onto the diesel particulate filter (DPF) flange (2).
  2. Position the cross-under pipe (5) into its position onto the DPF flange (2).
  3. Install the front flange mounting nuts (4). Tighten nuts to 27 N.m (250 in. lbs.).
  4. Install the rear flange bolt (5). Tighten bolt to 30 N.m (22 ft. lbs.).

  5. Install the down pipe (1) onto the cross-under pipe (3). Tighten the pipe clamp (2) to 50 N.m (37 ft. lbs.).
  6. Check for clearance of the exhaust to body.

  7. If equipped, install the lower engine bellypan shield.
  8. Lower the vehicle.
  9. Connect the negative battery cable.
