  1. Perform a complete backup of user data. Refer to STANDARD PROCEDURE .
  2. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
  3. Remove the switch-bank and bezel assembly (1). Refer to POD, SWITCH BANK, REMOVAL .

  4. Remove the retainers (1) from the Telematics Gateway Module (TGM) (2) and pull out far enough to access the connectors on the back of the TGM.
