  1. Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable.
  2. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to HOISTING, STANDARD PROCEDURE .
  3. Remove the belly pan. Refer to REMOVAL .
  4. Remove the crankshaft position sensor electrical connector (1).
  5. Remove the mounting bolt (2) and crankshaft position sensor (3).
