- Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable.
- Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to HOISTING, STANDARD PROCEDURE .
- Remove the belly pan. Refer to REMOVAL .
- Remove the crankshaft position sensor electrical connector (1).
- Remove the mounting bolt (2) and crankshaft position sensor (3).
