  1. Thoroughly clean cylinder block core hole and block heater seat.
  2. Insert block heater assembly (3) into the block.
  3. With block heater fully seated, tighten bolt (2) to 3 N.m (27 in. lbs.).
  4. Connect power cord to block heater (2).
