Diagnostic Test

2013 Dodge and Ram Dart GTSECTION Diagnostic Test
  1. REPLACE THE IGNM IF THE DTC IS ACTIVE 
    1. Turn the ignition on.
    2. With the scan tool, record and erase the RF-Hub DTCs.
    3. Apply the service brakes and shift the transmission from park to all other gears several times.
    4. Cycle the ignition off then back on.
    5. Apply the service brakes and shift the transmission from park to other gears.
    6. Wait 30 seconds.
    7. With the scan tool, read the active DTCs.

      Does the scan tool display: B2100-96-IGNM RUN/START INPUT - COMPONENT INTERNAL FAILURE as active?

      Yes 

      No 

      • Test complete, the condition or conditions that originally set this DTC are not present at this time. Using the wiring diagrams as a guide, check all related splices and connectors for signs of water intrusion, corrosion, pushed out or bent terminals, and correct pin tension. If this DTC ever returns, replace the Ignition Node Module in accordance with the Service Information. Refer to MODULE, IGNITION NODE, REMOVAL .
      • Perform the BODY VERIFICATION TEST. Refer to STANDARD PROCEDURE .
