Theory Of Operation
The Convergence Telematics Module (CTM) (also known as the Hands Free Module) controls and monitors both the (X722) Microphone 2 IN (+) circuit and the (X723) Microphone 2 IN (-) circuit for a concern. The CTM communicates over the CAN Bus. The microphone is located in the Inside Rearview Mirror. If the vehicle is equipped with the Navigation System, the microphone wires will also be connected to the Radio in order to supply audio to the system.

When to See a Mechanic
