Radiator - Removal

  1. Disconnect negative cable.
  2. Remove engine cover.
  3. Remove air intake assembly. Refer to BODY, AIR CLEANER, REMOVAL or BODY, AIR CLEANER, REMOVAL
  4. Evacuate the A/C system. Refer to PLUMBING, FRONT, STANDARD PROCEDURE .
    WARNING:

    Do not remove pressure cap or any hose with the system hot and under pressure because serious burns from coolant can occur.

  5. Drain cooling system. Refer to STANDARD PROCEDUREΒ .
  6. Remove the front bumper facia. Refer to FASCIA, FRONT, REMOVAL .

  7. Disconnect the horn connectors.
  8. Remove the bolt (1) holding the horn assembly (2) to the upper core support.

  9. Remove the upper and lower radiator hoses.
  10. Remove the A/C line nuts (2) at the A/C condenser.
