- Position the water pump (3) with a new gasket (2) onto the cylinder head (1). Tighten the bolts (4) to 28 N.m (21 ft. lbs.).
- Install the timing belt (3).
- Evacuate air and refill cooling system. Refer to PUMP, WATER, STANDARD PROCEDURE .
- Connect the negative battery cable.
- Check cooling system for leaks. Refer to DIAGNOSIS AND TESTING .
