Air Bag System Verification

- Remove all jumper wires. Reconnect all components, except battery. Turn ignition on. Reconnect battery.
- Connect scan tool to Data Link Connector (DLC), located under instrument panel. Using scan tool, clear DTCs. Turn ignition off.
- After 15 seconds, turn ignition on. Wait one minute. Using scan tool, check air bag system DTCs with passenger air bag switch in ON and OFF positions. If fault messages exist, see appropriate lemon-25® AIR BAG SERVICE & REPAIR MANUAL, DOMESTIC & IMPORTED MODELS. If fault messages do not exist, repair is complete.
