NOTE:
After making any repairs, perform BODY VERIFICATION TEST under VERIFICATION TESTS. Unless instructed otherwise in test step, reconnect any disconnected connectors.
- Ensure low beam headlights are operating properly. Repair low beam headlights as necessary. If low beam headlights are operating properly, go to next step.
- Turn ignition off. Disconnect Remote Keyless Entry (RKE) module connector. Connect a 12-volt test light between ground and RKE module connector terminal No. 1, dimmer switch low beam output circuit (Violet/White wire). See Figure. Turn low beam headlights on. If test light illuminates, replace RKE module. See REMOTE KEYLESS ENTRY (RKE) MODULE under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION. If test light does not illuminate, repair open Violet/White wire.
