2000 Dodge and Ram Neon ES, AutomaticSECTION ACM Messages Not Received By MIC
  1. Turn ignition off. Connect scan tool to Data Link Connector (DLC). DLC is located on bottom of instrument panel, to left of brake pedal. See Figure. Go to next step.
  2. Turn ignition on. Using scan tool, select PASSIVE RESTRAINTS, then AIRBAG. If Air Bag Control Module (ACM) responds, no problem is found at this time. Test is complete. If ACM does not respond, perform NO RESPONSE FROM ACMΒ  test under COMMUNICATIONS.
