Column Shift Interlock

2000 Dodge and Ram Intrepid R/TSECTION Column Shift Interlock
NOTE: Interlock cassette for column shift models can only be adjusted one time. When installing a new ignition lock cylinder, interlock cassette must be replaced.

Interlock cassette slides into housing behind lock cylinder. Cable at rear of cassette attaches to a locking arm on shifter mechanism. Ensure latch rotates freely on shifter gate. Ensure shifter is in Park and key is removed. Install cable over hook on locking arm. Slide cassette into housing until it locks in place. Push in adjustment tab until fully seated. See Fig 1 . The adjustment tab will make an audible "click" when fully engaged.
