2000 Dodge and Ram Intrepid R/TSECTION ABS Warning Indicator Not Operating Properly
NOTE:
Ensure no communication concerns exists before proceeding with this test.
- Connect scan tool to Data Link Connector (DLC). Using scan tool, retrieve Controller Anti-Lock Brake (CAB) module DTCs. If no CAB DTCs exist, go to next step. If any CAB DTCs exist, repair anti-lock brake system as necessary. See appropriate ANTI-LOCK article in BRAKES.
- Turn ignition on. Using scan tool, retrieve DTCs. If no DTCs exist, replace instrument cluster. If any DTCs exist, perform appropriate test. See DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE IDENTIFICATION table under SELF-DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM.
