Intermediate Shaft

1999 Dodge and Ram Viper RT/10SECTION Intermediate Shaft

This vehicle uses a sliding type collapsible steering column intermediate shaft. The intermediate shaft connects steering column shaft to shaft of steering gear. The intermediate shaft has a universal joint at each end and a collapsible joint in center section. It attaches to steering column and power steering gear shafts using pinch bolts. See Fig 1 .
