A/C Condenser: Installation

1999 Dodge and Ram Viper RT/10SECTION Installation
  1. Lift condenser and place it into vehicle. Lift radiator out of lower mounting brackets. It is not necessary to drain radiator. The condenser lower mounting bracket is trapped between radiator lower isolator and plastic radiator tank pin. It is necessary push down on condenser to install condenser bracket to radiator pins. Reinstall radiator to its mounting brackets. Install condenser mounting screws.
  2. Install radiator fan module. Install condenser line, remove caps or Install upper radiator support bars and cross-member. tape from lines. Use Special Tool kit (7193) (or equivalent) for quick disconnect couplers. Connect A/C line at condenser outlet. Connect A/C line at condenser inlet. Evacuate refrigerant system. Recharge refrigerant system.
