Non-Scan Tool Method
1999 Dodge and Ram Viper RT/10SECTION Non-Scan Tool Method
- To enter programming mode, disarm entry module. Ground pin C13 of entry module J3 connector (6 inch Green pigtail wire located at entry module).
- Turn ignition switch to RUN position. Receiver acknowledges programming mode by flashing Vehicle Theft Security System LED located on top, center of instrument panel. See Fig 1
.NOTE: Program mode will time out if no valid transmitter code is received within 60 seconds. The timer resets after each successful transmitter programming.
- Send transmitter code by pressing either button on transmitter for approximately 10 seconds. A successful programming will be acknowledged with a horn chirp. Repeat for both transmitters. All transmitters MUST be reprogrammed anytime a new fob is added.
