BODY CONTROL COMPUTER - INTRODUCTION article. Perform VERIFICATION TEST VER-1A
after each repair.
- Using scan tool, read DTCs. If EXTERNAL CD CHANGER ERROR message is present, replace radio. If EXTERNAL CD CHANGER ERROR message is not present, go to next step.
- Disconnect DIN cable between CD changer and radio. CD changer is located in trunk. Check continuity of DIN cable. If DIN cable continuity test is okay, replace CD changer. If DIN cable continuity test fails, replace DIN cable.
