- Perform calibration/diagnostics procedure. See IN-VEHICLE CALIBRATIONΒ under ADJUSTMENTS. Press wash button to cycle code level to level 2 (mode potentiometer test). See READING DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODESΒ under SELF-DIAGNOSTICS.
- Rotate mode control lever from panel to defrost position. Observe intermittent rear wiper button LED. Intermittent rear wiper button LED flash rate should slow as lever moves from panel to defrost position, and speed up as lever moves from defrost to panel position.
- Press WASH button to cycle code level to level 3 (blend/pass. potentiometer test). Slide temperature control lever from hot to cold position. Observe intermittent rear wiper button LED. Intermittent rear wiper button LED flash rate should slow as lever moves from hot to cold position, and speed up as lever moves from cold to hot position.
