- To determine if piston-to-cylinder clearance is within specification, measure piston skirt diameter .551" (14.0 mm) from bottom of piston skirt, at 90-degree angle to piston pin. Ensure piston diameter is within specification. See PISTONS, PINS & RINGSΒ table under ENGINE SPECIFICATIONS.
- Measure cylinder bore .394" (10.0 mm) below top of cylinder bore, at middle of bore and .394 " (10.0 mm) from bottom of cylinder bore.
